Description

The artwork delicately veils the two exposed steel bleachers, added in 2008 between the two original Art Deco entries, creating a sense of a continuous volume, and thereby completing the overall architectonic reading of a stadium’s form.

To capture an airy sense of light within and upon the new façade and to maintain views out and a sense of the internal circulation, the studio selected two woven stainless-steel mesh ribbons, each type set at a different incline to create a uniquely volumetric response to light.
